The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays. It tops other holidays simple because it's in the Summer. Summer brings all the good things like BBQ s with the family, time spent around the pool and don't forget FIREWORKS!!
Jayden and Triston were so cute over the weekend. Grand'Mer bought them a little kiddie pool to swim in and they swam all day long. Jayden didn't pass up the opportunity to spray me with the hose, soaking me from head to toe.

Merilee and I made these cute little "hamburgers". The buns were made out of cupcakes, brownies for the hamburger, coconut as lettuce and icing as the tomato and cheese. Oh and sugar cookies cut to look like french fries. They were so so good, pretty rich but delicious.

The 4th was a lot of fun. We had a full house, with papa Dean and Norma Jane, the Garner family, and of course our family in itself is huge. I wouldn't have had it any other way, I loved the crowd. We had an amazing BBQ with grilled chicken, grilled pineapple, and corn on the cob. After dinner we played a really fun game called Bocce and then went over to the golf course to watch fireworks.
