It'll Happen

(picture taken via amazing camera phone..)

So I've been thinking, schools out, I have nothing to do...why not get into shape. So today I read all about eating healthy and exercising...while eating a Take 5 bar.

You see, I even underlined. I'm serious about this healthy business.

Have a Rainy Day

I love Spring rain.

Some will say, "rain rain go away!"

I say, "rain your okay, I like you."

I love the clouds, I love the smell and all the effects of rain, like pretty flowers and green green grass.

But as soon as June comes,

that rain better go away

because it's summertime!

A Forever Family

Last Saturday an amazing thing happened to our family. Kelby, Michelle and little Kloie were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple for all eternity.

Seeing this little family walk out of the temple together is a memory I'll cherish forever, they were glowing. Kloie Bean was so good, she didn't cry once. I love Kelby's family so much; they moved to Miami yesterday and I miss them already.

If you haven't been to Temple Square in awhile you really need to! The tulips are in bloom and they are stunning.

The Young Victoria

um.. this movie is amazing and I can't get it out of my head, it's absolutely beautiful! I recommend it whole heartily.

ps
I have a ton of photos I need to post. I had a little photo shoot with my cousin Cami and her baby. Also Kelby, Michelle and Kloie's sealing pictures, all coming soon. I might have to wait until after finals.

I'm 21!! "I feel old but not very wise." - An Education

In all my 21 years I have never had a birthday surprise..that I can remember. On Friday I received the best surprise I could ask for! As I pulled into my parents driveway I noticed a bumble bee yellow Mazda in the garage. It took me a second to process but after the realization, I was all smiles and on the verge of tears.
Deven, Autumn and the cutest little boys ever, were visiting from Washington state. I'd like to say they were solely there to be my birthday present but they were also there for Kelby and his little family (which is a whole other story).

It was so good seeing them, I miss them terribly when they are away. All in all it was one of the best birthdays! I got to spend time with my family, as well as witness the miracles of the temple and priesthood blessings.

{Although our journey through mortality will at times place us in harm’s way, may I offer you tonight three suggestions which, when observed and followed, will lead us to safety. They are:

1. Study diligently.

2. Pray fervently.

3. Live righteously.}

-Pres. Thomas S. Monson

I've been struggling in all three of theses areas. Recently I came across a talk of President Monson's with these suggestions and it really helped me. They're so simple and I know that by following them my faith will grow
So maybe if you feel or have felt this way, you could read this.

Five things I’m so loving right now

*Cherry Blossoms*
I’m super duper excited for all the spring flowers to start blooming.

*Spring clothes*
Have you been shopping lately!?! I’m really loving the colors and all the floral prints.

(love love love this dress from Modcloth)

*The Month of April*
So many good things come with April… like Spring, rain {that's right, i love rain} and most importantly MY birth!

*BLOGS*
I really love this one. and this one. oh and this one.

*School*
Finals are coming up and I’m lucky enough to say, I’m not too worried. This has been a good, fun and surprisingly easy semester. BUT I am loving the fact that it’s soon coming to an end.

To all the single ladies!

Now before you go and say, "that's so yesterday" hear me out.

I'm pretty sure everyone has heard this song or watched this video of Michael Bubles.

I LoVe(d) it. When the music video first came out I probably watched it twice a day for..a pathetic amount of time. BUT then i got a little sick of it... yeah it was cute but super unrealistic...

wow can you say bitter (i can now).

Just today I came across the video again and it was like a reunion of hope!
It's amazing and not unrealistic...
it'll happen... I just haven't met him yet.

Not So Loved Feature

(This is what I do when I don’t want to do homework)

Do you have a feature you just don’t like....?
I do, and it’s my nose.
I could be excepting of this nose if, lets say it were “my moms” or “my dads” nose but it’s not…. It doesn’t resemble any of my family members noses… It’s just mine.

Maybe that’s why I should like it…because it is MY nose and god gave me this unique smeller.

On a lighter note, what’s your favorite feature?

Things to be happy about:

Spring is around the corner

Even better summer is around the block

And General Conference talks are already available to read here

Which talk was your favorite? Mine was Elder Jeffrey R. Hollands' from the Saturday afternoon session.

Sometimes I feel like I need to get away. I want to pack my bags and go. I need some excitement, I think I need to travel!

Stinking education.... one month until the semester ends. After that I'm free, well free for the summer anyway.
Do you have any advice on where my first destination should be?

Born In The Wrong Decade

I'm loving this singer right now, her name is Beth Rowley. I first saw her in the movie An Education, which I also loved by the way. I love that era... minus all the smoking of course. It's a very powerful "woman" movie, I thought it was great.

Carey Mulligan was great in this film, she might be my new favorite actress. You may recognize her from another fantastic film, Pride and Prejudice.

Inspired Gift

My mom made me this quilt and it’s definitely one of my most cherished processions. It’s not perfect or made of expensive material but it is special. After many hours of hard work, she finished it, 3 months before she passed away. I love this quilt because every time I see it I’m reminding of the love my mom had for me. Whenever I need to feel close to her I wrap myself in it. I believe my mom was inspired to make this blanket for me. Heavenly Father knew that I would need it.
This quilt has wiped away many tears, warmed up my heart and provided me with so much comfort. This quilt keeps me warm in the winter and eases my hurt heart in the spring.
