When I see or smell a Russian Olive tree I think of two things. First I think of my mom and second i think, "it's summer!"

The Russian Olive is considered a weed, which is nonsense if you ask me! I know it takes over and there are a ton of them everywhere but they just smell so good. My mom loved the Russian Olive tree smell and she always looked forward to Spring and early Summer when their blossoms would bloom. This is definitely my favorite time of year.

Meet Sam and Kaela, the cutest couple ever!!

I loved our photo session. Utah has had some crazy weather this summer and we happened to pick a day that rained and osnowed but they were troopers none the less and they kept a positive attitude the whole time. These are just a few of my favorites.

I'm a blessed girl! I don't suffer from health problems. I'm not drawn to drugs or have an addiction.
I'm lucky, I have a wonderful family and great friends. I have a home and I have the gospel in my life.
But I do struggle and I have been fighting with the same problem since I was 11 years old, half my life. And that is my weight and my lack of positive self-esteem.

So I've decided to do something about it. This past month I've been working really hard, I've hired a personal trainer and I've been eating healthy all in hopes of continued progress. I've come up with this journal/blog that will hopefully help me stay motivated to lose weight and bring me some support.

I could really use tips, tricks and most importantly support in my journey to feeling good.

I took a little trip out into the wilderness with the greatest and funniest peeps out there: Zach, Kaitlyn, Taren and Sarah. It was a short stay but it was a fun one. Oh fa'herrr sure!
