Sneak Peek

Today I took Alex and Jodi's engagement pictures.

We headed into down town Salt Lake and had a lot of fun. The weather was beautiful, a little chilly but not bad for January.

These two are easy to photograph... can I just say they are going to have some gorgeous babies one day.

{ps i can't post too many because I want their actual engagement photo to be a surprise for everyone}

Almost February

It's common opinion/knowledge/fact that January and February are some of the worst months out of the year.

Spring semester isn't as fun as fall semester

There are no holidays.... except for Valentines day which doesn't really count. *as i type bitterly*

It's also Cold and Flu season.

Anyway to cheer you up during these hard times of January almost February i have compiled some of my favorite quotes/scriptures/thoughts

Determination and Positivity

(When you look like this you need to be postive.)

This is going to be a very difficult semester for me. I'm taking three of the hardest classes I've ever taken. I have two jobs. I need to make time to exercise and I have goals to be more sociable this semester.

I'm determined to succeed in my classes so I know I'll make it through these three or so months. But let me just say, that if I can do this, I can do anything.

So here's to making progress in life and being positive along the way.

What I'm Missing

Right now I really miss....

The Sun. Its been hiding behind smog and I haven't seen it in days.

also

Grass. Lying on the grass, staring up at the stars. Aw I love it and i miss it.

Hopefully I'll survive these cold months.

Story Time: My poor dad is sick with the flu, which is the sad part of this story.

The padre is sick, so I went on a search for flu meds at the local pharmacy (Walgreens). After picking up the drugs I decided to browse through the hair products aisle. Which got me thinking, I wish I had someone I knew and trusted to do my hair up in Logantown.

-backstory- About three months ago I picked a salon in Logan and had a girl dye my hair. I didn’t love the outcome and I left feeling angry that I had spent so much money.

As I walked down the aisle I started to checkout the box dyes and I found a color that I really loved and thought, “this is the color I’ve always wanted.”

So I got brave and bought it.

If you want something done right sometimes you just have to do it yourself.

Success!! and I Love it.

Totally worth the $8

Moral of the story: be brave and take chances and also DO IT YOURSELF... and save money.. There's a butt load of good advice in this post. bahaha.
