Dating and Decorating

B was super nice and a complete gentleman. I felt like the conversation came really easy; I hate when you go out with someone and its like pulling teeth to carry on a conversation. It was nice to feel comfortable instead of awkward or nervous. B is just one of those guys thats so nice you can't help but feel at ease.

I'm still confused as to why he didn't ask me out himself.... I didn't ask him because I thought that would just be awkward and I tend to avoid awkward moments on first dates.

Anywho I had a lot of fun, so we'll see what happens. He may be too soft spoken and shy for my taste but those are just first date impressions.

In other news the last week of classes has come to an end and now I'm on my way into finals.

Summer is in site and I'm pretty excited. I've decided to stay here in Logan for the summer, continue working at the glorious (i kid) TJ Maxx.

I will still be living at the same apartment complex just a new apartment. A single room apartment and I'm super excited for this. Don't get me wrong I do enjoy having a roommate but most of the time its just nice to have your own space. This summer I really want to decorate my little room, make it feel homie and comfortable. After all this is the first summer that I won't be moving back in with my parents (commence teary eyes and homesickness).

I would have to keep it pretty simple because I can't alter my rented space too much. But that's the way I like it anyway, simple and clean. The walls are already white so I was thinking of a white comforter with accent pillows of yellow, green and blue. Along with some light colored curtains.

I won't be able to start this little project for another three weeks so I'll keep you posted.

I like the flowers hanging from the ceiling. I thought it was a nice simple touch to a simple room.

Dating 101. FAILED.

Story Time:

Boy named C texts a girl namedA and asks what she's doing tonight.

A text message, no talking just texting.

A responds by, "I don't have any big plans yet, why?"

C says, "Would you want to go on a date with my roommate?"

A thinks this is super strange and a little distasteful behavior. After all this is not junior high. A also wonders which roommate C is talking about because frankly it matters.

A says, "Oh I see, which roommate?"

C says, "B, are you interested?"

...................................... What should A have done?............................

for 1 B didn't ask A himself

2 its pretty last minute Less than 5 hours notice.

and 3 it was asked via text.

Well A said yes.

A is me by the way and I'm going to be picked up at 5.... I'll let you know how this goes.

For the record I think B is cute and he seems to be a nice guy. So that is why I said yes.

From what I've noticed about him he's shy, so I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt.

April In Utah

April weather in Utah is like this every year, so why am I so surprised when it snows?

I'm a firm believer in lipstick.

No, you do not need to be 60+ to wear it.

Don't feel like putting on makeup? Lipstick and mascara should be your best friends.

Fresh out of bed(or not so fresh), hair in a bun and rocking some lipstick. Ready for class.

Did you know this is my favorite time of year? April, Spring, and the school year coming to an end!!! GLORIOUS.
