Did you know you can checkout CD's at the library? Coolest thing ever! I found some good finds.

Like:

Okay so this really wasn't a good find. The only good song was She Drives Me Crazy and I'm not sure I like that being my birth year song.

The Library's selection may be random and pretty limited but who know's what you'll find.

I also picked up The Jonas Brothers Bonus Jonas Edition (i'm not ashamed), No Doubt and a Mariah Carey album.

The Bachelorette recap #1

This season the Bachelorette Is Ashley. I always liked Ashley so I'm excited to watch this season. I've decided to do little recaps of the show. If any of you missed it check it out on Hulu.

This recap begins at the cocktail party, after the introductions.

Tim is crazzzy. He’s a little slow… um oh wait no he’s just drunk.

-My opinion of EastCoast men is quickly dwindling….. they all seem be awkward and/or alcoholics.

Case in point:

Tim the drunk.

Awkward masked guy.

Anthony the butcher, strait up weirdo from Jersey.

And Ames, the self proclaimed educated traveler.)

I feel bad for the masked guy. Yeah he’s weird but the other guys should lay off.

Tim picking a fight, wow so low. Should I go as far as to say I hate drunk people? Ok I will.

Bubye Tim. You won't be missed.

Masked guy has good intensions but he’s still strange. His point has come across now take it off.

Bentley is shady shady shady. Ashamed he's from Utah. (Jaheez another crazy from Utah. Michelle anyone?)

Bentley, “I’m not overly attracted to her.” JERK! Sent him home!

Ashley obviously didn’t think masked guy was too weird. He gets the first rose.

I predict the final rose going to Bentley. They need to keep the drama going.

Highlights of the season to come:

Cheesy one-liners sure to ensue.

Oh that date with all the lanterns looks magical.

I want to go to Fuji.

Please someone tell me how Bentley makes it that far? That guy is sick and wrong. Lets go find his house and egg it. Who’s with me? Looking at the mountains in his introduction scene I’m guessing he lives somewhere in South Jordan/Oquirrh Mountain area.

Friends I am so excited because I bought a new camera! I can't wait to get out and start experimenting with it. Too bad I haven't seen much natural sunlight because the sun has been hiding behind monstrous rain clouds. Until it decided to come out and play I'll have to continue taking pictures from my window.

I Self Learned Myself

I don't really have a bucket list but if I did

'Learn Spanish' would most definitely be on it.

So I've decided to teach myself how to speak the language of guacamole. After all, the majority of the guys that hit on me are latino (true story and not an exaggeration). I'll need to know how to communicate with my future husbano i mean marido.

I want to wish my stepmom, sisters, aunts, cousins and friends a Happy Mothers Day!

I'm so thankful for all that you do. Even though we might only see each other once in a while, I appreciate all that you have done and all that you continue to do.

ps I know I've been changing the blog like I change my underwear (um..thats regularly btw) but I promise to leave the design alone for a while.

Can I just tell you that I love OneRepublic’s new single Good Life! I practically get goose bumps during the chorus.

The reason I love it so much is because it’s the theme song of Rookie Blue aka Arika’s FAVORITE tv show.

Rookie Blue season 2 premiers June 16th on ABC. You can bet your bottom that I’ll get work off and I’ll drive the two hours to my parent’s house to watch it because my apartment doesn’t have cable. (wow that was quite the run on sentence) Needless to say, I'm pretty excited for season 2.

Reading and Listening

What I'm reading:



I love to read and right now I'm reading the Mortal Instruments series. I just finished the 3rd book, City of Glass.

I really enjoy these books. They are the type that just suck you in with the first chapter and the story never slows down, which I like. I'm not very good at writing reviews but if you're looking for a new read I recommend the Mortal Instruments series.

Blogs that I'm following:

C Jane - This chic is hilarious! she is also nie nie's sister.

Story of my Life - I love this blog even though she is ridiculously gorgeous and it makes me a little jealous.

The Daybook - I love the Daybook. Sydney has amazing style and I love the personality that comes through her writing.

Busy Bee- Growing up if I were to have a sister she would be it.

What I'm listening to:

Anything of Haley Reinhart. She is my favorite of the contestants on American Idol. I have a feeling that not a lot of people like her raspy/screamy voice but I love it!

It's finals week up on the Utah State University campus and I have currently been at the campus library for the last 4 hours and will probably be here for another 6.
