This is when I speak of my most embarrassing moments... of the past week.

That moment last weekend when I was trapped in a hospital bathroom and I felt like this:
I had to be rescuded by a nurse.. and when she saw that I was a perfectly healthy grownup her expression resembled this:
It. was. awful!

That moment one afternoon when I watched this clip far too many times:

Feel free to call me a cougar.

That moment last night when I went to Hastings and asked for Bridge to Terabithia and Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure
JHutch is in this movie people!

The moment I realized that I was making fun of people for spelling their baby names wrong and realized my own name is spelled none traditionally... at least it's not Aericka.

I did promise some California pictures. I didn't take as many as I should have.

The trip was so great, I loved visiting California but mostly I loved spending time with Alex and Zach and their wifies. I love the relationship that we all share. We're not only family but truly we are best friends. (yes I just delivered that cheesy line)

The first day was spent at Disneyland where it rained, monsoon type rains. It was a little miserable but we still had fun. I still felt like I was in the happiest place on earth. Later in the day, after a little nap and change of dry clothes, we went back to California Adventure. I went on a Little Mermaid themed ride that I fell in love with. When I was little The Little Mermaid was my movie of choice. I watched it over and over again. That ride turned me into a little 5 year old again... now after coming home all I want to do is watch Disney movies.

100 Dalmatians . Little mermaid . and Aladdin will probably be next.

After our Disneyland adventure we drove north the the Griffith Observatory and to see a view of the Hollywood sign. It's not that exciting but I still recommend going if you're in the area. The view is great and the observatory building is beautiful... and it's free.

Zach and Sarah live in Santa Maria. A little city about two hours north of LA in the gorgeous country side of central California. The area is full of beautiful vineyards, rolling green hills and happy cows. Seriously I couldn't get over how happy those cows looked.

We went to the beautiful beaches. We shopped. We had scary tv/movie marathons. We explored the surrounding towns and had so much fun being together.

For me the highlight of the trip was our sushi dinner and movie night to see THE HUNGER GAMES!! It was great! I loved every second of that movie. I'm a little obsessed with the whole thing actually. This obsession probably deserves its own blog post.
I will now end with a picture over load.

i want to go back.
