When I see or smell a Russian Olive tree I think of two things. First I think of my mom and second i think, "it's summer!"
The Russian Olive is considered a weed, which is nonsense if you ask me! I know it takes over and there are a ton of them everywhere but they just smell so good. My mom loved the Russian Olive tree smell and she always looked forward to Spring and early Summer when their blossoms would bloom. This is definitely my favorite time of year.
Deven and I were talking about how much we miss the awesome smell of Russian olive trees. It totally reminds us of your Mom as well.
