Awkward Sunday

Happy rainy Monday to ya

Awkward Sunday... Sunday morning brought us Daylight Savings... which equals NOT FUN! I stayed up way too late and then woke up at 7 with a killer headache.... in my mind and body it was really 6. So I went back to bed thinking I could sleep it off. one hour. two hours. headache is still raging on. Realization hits that I just need to get my arss out of bed and take something and then get ready for church. Sacrament has already started so in my hurry to get ready I left my undies and clothes in the bathroom... which I have never done before (at least not in a roommate filled apartment..i do it all the time at home).

Here is where the awkward comes in.. My roommate Mica has a friend over, who is really nice, funny and cute and a guy. He asks where the bathroom is and if he can use it. I say sure and ask him to ignore anything that's messy in there (that comment right there makes it double the awkward).... At that point I had totally forgotten about my unmentionables lying on the bathroom floor. I only said that to be polite in case there was a comb or toothbrush left on the counter.

Anyway, he left sometime later and I walked into the bathroom and looked on the floor.....shoot!!

You'd think,

"What's the big deal? You live in a house full of girls. The underwear could have been anyones." WRONG I am the only one home wearing that particular type of underwear. My roommates have served missions, so I am the guilty culprit and he knew it.

Is it wrong of me to wish that they had been at least cute undies?

Not really a big deal but at the time it was embarrassing.. now I'm just laughing. So that's my awkward Sunday.
