Where is yours?

A place to go when you don’t feel like being in the place you are. Do you have one of these?

Mine is in the mountains, in a white house with red shutters and a wraparound porch. There is a tire swing hanging from a Weeping Willow in the front yard. Soft green grass surrounds the house and beyond that are wildflower covered hills that ascend high to form mountains.

There's a creek near by where I lie back with my feet dipped in the cool water. The sun's heated rays blanket over my face and body. I waste away the days by taking lots of photos, reading book after book, eating turkey sandwiches and sipping italian sodas. At night the stars are so bright and vast that it's almost light out. I fall asleep with the window open, a warm summer breeze and the sound of crickets fills the night air.
