Bachelorette Recap: Stalker Mania

So I feel like I can’t really recap on what we’ve already seen so we’ll start with Ashley’s visitor.

Ben is back on the top of my favorites list.

He’s just so goofy and laid back. I love that.

Oh my!! My little virgin eyes. That whole applying sunscreen to her chest was super awkward for me.

I think Ashley really likes Ben. He just might be the winner in the end.

What do you think happens in the fantasy sweet? Am I naïve in thinking they just talk and cuddle the whole night?

Sunday Lessons

a little thought to start your week off.

Well peeps last week was no bueno

It started out with a toothache and ending with the realization that I am a jerk.

and in between all that there was a high speed chase and a lot of time spent at TJ Maxx.

confused? yeah me to.

A lot happened last week so I'll start at the beginning but this is going to be a Readers Digest version because I have a Relief Society lesson to plan.

Sunday:

I had a massive toothache.

Monday:

I worked at TJ's from 7am to 4.

I then went strait to the dentist to get my face drilled to pieces. The Root Canal procedure itself isn't too bad, it's the swelling and pain of recovery that's killer.

Later that night I spoke with "R" about a certain post I wrote... and one that he read.

interject my moment of realization... I am a jerk.

Tuesday:

Did you know that I take photos of houses that are at risk of foreclosure or bankruptcy? The fancy name is property inspector.

Well Tuesday I was out in the boondocks of Cache county taking a photo of a house. The owner did not like this so he began to swear and yell at me. Me being by myself and in an unfamiliar town decide to drive away without any retort or confrontation. This must have pissed him off because as I looked in my rearview mirror I saw him running for his car. He then began to chase me. So there I am driving and watching as my speedometer and assailant gain speed. I also notice/remember that my car is on empty and has been for some time now. That's when I call 411 and ask them to connect me to a dispatch officer. So there I am speeding down a long highway with a crazy man so close behind me I can barely see the front of his car; with the fear that my car will breakdown at any moment. As we approach the neighboring town of Newton some 6 or so minutes into the chase my pursuer slows and then turns off onto a side street. I inform the officer, thank him, hang up the phone and then start the hysterics... and uh that was it.

The scariest experience of my life.

I finished that day with a closing shift at TJ's.

(note that the "A" is not the home of the crazy man)

Wednesday:

Started with a long day at work and then ending with a PERIOD.

The rest of the week thankfully began to brighten. I spent Friday and Saturday with my family in Midway.

and now I'm going to prepare my church lesson on Elder Cooks conference talk titled Women Are Incredible.

Thank you Heavenly Father, I need this lesson more than anything.

"A" needs Help

Story Time:

There is a girl her name is A

A met a boy named R.

A thought R was cool but cool as in buddy/friend that happens to be a boy cool.

R was not intimidating. R was nice and easy to talk to. there for R was essentially boring.

Well because R was so easy to be around, A felt like she could be herself, she could be funny, she could act like she didn't care... because she didn't. There was no need to impress R.

Well R liked that. So R decided to make googly eyes at A and ask her on a date.

A being a strong supporter in the Every Guy Deserves A First Date Act said yes.

The date with R was just like any other time A had spent with R.

not intimidating.

nice.

with a steady convo.

So from that list you're probably wondering. "what's the problem? that sounds like a good date."

WRONG.

because A didn't feel any kind of spark. excitement. butterflies. or googly eyes. NOTHING.

Over the next week or so after their date R continued to text A. Often asking about her days. plans. & her work schedule.

A's responses were lacking in luster, no response too funny, witty or detailed. This was done on purpose. He continued to text so A decided not to respond to R's last text hoping he would get the hint.

R decided to act upon other means of communication.

like surprise apartment visits. yay!

R stayed way past his welcome. Even after A mentioned not feeling well because of a toothache and how she probably needed to go to bed early.

Not until A stood up and again mentioned how she was tired and probably needed to go to bed did R finally get the idea to leave.

As A walked to the door to push R out (just joking there was no pushing) R asked A on a second date for the next night.

As heartless as A seems, she really doesn't want to hurt R's feelings. She likes R. He is nice. He is a good friend (i even cringe at the reference to being "just friends").

A not wanting R to waist his hard earned money on a girl who isn't interested makes up an excuse.

Something about dentist appointment. swelling in the face and a numb mouth incapable of eating.

A feels awful, wishing she had told him the truth. Should she have told him the truth or is an excuse good enough? Or should A have gone on the second date?

Can a spark be lit if you work at it? Should you have to work at gaining attraction for someone?

Help A out would ya? She could really use your advice. I'm thinking most of you are married or are currently in the dating scene as well so you've been there.. you've done that. A would really appreciate it.

Are you going to the midnight showing? I am and I'll be sporting a shirt like this.

Truthfully this whole thing is a little bittersweet. I remember the first time I went to a Harry Potter movie, I was 12. My Aunt Sandy's work rented out a theater in Provo and it was awesome! They even served us breakfast.

So here I am 10 years later going to my last midnight showing of Harry Potter and I'm just as excited if not more than the first time.

Monday Random

I'm going to do a little something called Mondays Random.... 1. because I like to have a blog routine, like Bachelorette Tuesdays and 2. I have a lot of photos in my camera that just sit in my camera...I might as well share them.

I had to try a sparkler/super trendy photo with the help of my sibs.

I love this women, She is my grandma, She is hilarious and She likes to compliment me...which makes me feel nice.

This weekend my frousin Kaitlyn became a Mrs. to her Mr. Blackham. Even though I'm a little sad to be losing my wing women I'm even more happy that she found her boy and they're going to live happily ever after.

Here are a few pics from that happy day... not too many because I know she'll want to blog about her wedding.

I can tell you that she looked phenomenal and the reception was gorgeous.
